Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. Red Rock Canyon has a 13-mile scenic drive, miles of hiking on over 25 trails with varying degrees of difficulty, rock climbing, an informative visitor center and plenty of opportunities to enjoy a picnic and appreciate the geologic features of the park. Deb and I took three hikes here in 2023 and confident there will more in ’24.
