Hard to believe we have been here nearly two weeks.. We stayed at an awesome RV park near Coarsegold, CA which is somewhat near the Mariposa entrance on HWY 41. In the past two weeks we have saturated our senses with Yosemite National Park. Seeing is believing…This is by far, the highlight of our RV adventure. So many breathtaking, mind-numbing views of shear splendor and nature’s beauty.\u00a0 The newly opened Mariposa Grove, Washburn & Glacier Point, Tunnel View and all the iconic highlights in the valley…. Bridle-veil Falls, Upper & Lower Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, and the grand-daddy…. Halfdome.<\/p>\n

With school out, crowds were abundant but not inhibitive to our adventures. Picnic areas were shaded and provided spectacular views, a visit to the Ansel Adams Gallery left Deb speechless and ready to go shoot some 8×10 film. We must have taken the seven mile drive through the valley at least 4 times. The time of day casts rays of sun and shadows that weren’t there just hours before. The shifting winds also provided exciting views of the falls.<\/p>\n

Not only did we enjoy Yosemite NP, we did a day trip to Kings Canyon NP, another breathtaking display of mother nature. The King river was tenacious and the drive along its banks were unreal. We also got to enjoy the Grizzly and Roaring river waterfalls, too.<\/p>\n

In keeping with our spirit of adventure, we wandered off to Merced, Calif. over the weekend to escape the National Park frenzy. We found a flea\/farmer’s market and enjoyed “street tacos” (x3) and stocked up on some fresh produce..<\/p>\n
